Chiefs Day Dream:
10 years old Lake D. has the time of his life and meets his idle and living legend Tony Gonzalez! Lake, his dad Josh, and mom Tracy had the time of their lives Sunday at the Chiefs game. They stayed the night before compliments of the downtown Marriott, picked up in a HUGE Limo by Leader Limousine, escorted by Larry Moore of KMBC Channel 9 on the field to meet Hall of Fame players and watched the game in a beautiful suite provided by McDonald's franchisee Ty Yano. "WOW, what a day" said Lake as he couldn't stop smiling the entire day. Check out the rest of the pictures in the Smile Gallery...
Even more than a Chiefs victory, Lake wanted to meet Tony G. to sign his shirt and hat. Even though it was a tough day on the field, Mr. Gonzalez put that aside, looked Lake in the eye and talked to him. Tony made Lake feel like he was the only person in the room. We are all blessed to have such a role model for our kids. Tony Gonzalez is a true gentleman.
Thank you to all our sponsors for making Lakes dream come true!
